AUSTIN, Texas – The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced an updated Baseball Academic All-District Team on Thursday morning.
Don Goodes of the Adrian College baseball team was added to the All-District Team for NCAA Division III.
To be named to the CSC Academic All-District Team, the student-athlete must:
- Hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher
- Participate in at least 50% of contests, or pitch in at least ten innings for pitchers
- Not be a first-year student
Goodes finished his undergraduate degree in December with a GPA of 3.86 before fishing his first semester of graduate school with a 4.0 GPA. He participated in 34 games during the season with 29 starts. Goodes finished the year with a .315 batting average with 21 runs scored, two doubles, one home run, and 14 RBIs. On the mound, Goodes appeared ten times with seven starts and 38 innings pitched. He finished with a record of 2-3 with 40 strikeouts.
