ADRIAN, MICH. – The Adrian College women's soccer team hosted Mount St. Joseph University Sunday afternoon. The Bulldogs came away with a 3-0 victory.
In the first half, Adrian notched seven shots with Mount St. Joseph having five. At the 23-minute mark
Annamarie Fosmoen kicked in a goal that was assisted by
Kelsey Zoli to put the Bulldogs up, 1-0. Later,
Ellise Fries netted a goal of her own with less than a minute to go in the half. The score at the half was 2-0, Adrian.
Adrian stayed dominate in the second half, as they totaled eight more shots and only allowing Mount St. Joseph to have one. Not even five minutes into the second half
Annamarie Fosmoen scored once again making the final score, 3-0.
Defensively, Adrian only allowed a total of six shots. Adrian's goalkeepers
Katelyn Stanton and
Gabrielle Fallon Revels kept the Lions scoreless as they totaled four saves.
The Bulldogs are back in action on Wednesday, September 20 at 7:00 PM at North Central College!
