ADRIAN, Mich. – The Adrian College men's soccer team hosted Defiance College on Thursday night at Docking Stadium. The Bulldogs went down early in the first half, but battled back to force a 1-1 draw with the Yellow Jackets.
In the first half, Defiance got on the board in the ninth minute to take a 1-0 lead. Adrian had multiple chances totaling eight shots in the first half with two landing on goal. The Adrian defense held strong allowing just four first half shots with two on goal.
Adrian continued to battle in the second half. In the 66
th minute, a corner kick from
Keliam Green found the head of
Brady Musser to tie the match 1-1. The Bulldogs went on to finish the match with 20 total shots with six landing on goal while Defiance collected 13 shots with seven on goal.
Jackson Vacca started in goal for Adrian where he recorded six saves on the night.
The Bulldogs return to action at home on Saturday, September 23 at 2:00 PM when they host Grace Christian.
