ANGOLA, Ind. – The Adrian College women's volleyball team traveled to Trine University Tuesday evening winning their conference opener, 3-1.
In the first set, Trine won 25-23. After that it was all Adrian, winning 25-17, 25-22, and 27-25.
Offensively,
Mallory Dorow led with 17 kills,
Amber Morris had 11 kills, and
Grace Croci with nine.
Ariel Gibson also pitched in six kills for the Bulldogs.
Hailey Farrell totaled 42 assists in four sets.
Defensively,
Mya Minjares led all players with 26 digs followed by Farrell with 14, Morris adding 13, and
Lana Cox totaling 11.
Kendall Sullivan had 10 digs of her own for the Bulldogs.
Adrian will look to stay hot as they will be on the road for another conference matchup against Alma College on September 29 at 6:30 PM.
