LAKE FOREST, Ill. -- The No. 5 Adrian College Women's NCAA Hockey team wrapped up their three-game road weekend on Sunday with a win at Lake Forest, besting the Foresters by ten goals, 11-1.
The Bulldogs scored nine unanswered goals before the Foresters could find one of their own.
Hunter Reardon (2 G, 1 A),
Karmen Anderson (2 G, 1 A),
Saige Biddle (2 G),
Paige Pomerleau (1 G, 2 A), and
Une Bjelland (1 G, 2 A) were forces for the Bulldogs in the one-sided contest, which saw the Bulldogs score eleven times on 45 shots.
To round out the scoring,
Tia Lascelle,
Gia Avalone, and
Zoe Lohrei each added goals while
Annika Hanson and
Maya Roy collected three assists each. Goaltender
Michaela O'Brien made 20 saves on 21 shots, earning the victory for Adrian and improving the team to 19-2-0 on the season.
The Women's Hockey team returns to action on February 2-3 at home against St. Norbert in a conference match-up. Puck drops at 7:00 PM on Friday and 3:00 PM on Saturday.
