ALBION, MICH. – The Adrian College men's soccer team saw their season come to an end in the first round of the MIAA Conference Tournament on Saturday, falling to Albion in a hard-fought match.
Albion broke the scoreless tie in the 26th minute, applying early pressure on the Bulldogs. Despite three attempts in the first half, Adrian entered halftime trailing 1-0. The Bulldogs ramped up their efforts in the second half with eight more shots but couldn't find the back of the net. Albion sealed the game with a second goal in the 71st minute, securing a 2-0 victory.
Adrian tallied 11 shots overall, three of which were on target, while Albion recorded 10 shots with seven on target.
The Bulldogs conclude their 2024 season with an impressive 11-4-2 overall record and a 2-3-2 mark in conference play.
