BLOOMINGTON, IL – The Adrian College men's volleyball team traveled to compete in the Illinois Wesleyan Quad on Friday and Saturday. In day two, the Bulldogs would go 2-0 and finish 3-1 on the weekend! Defeating Wabash College 3-1 and beating Wisconsin Lutheran College 3-0.
Adrian would defeat Wabash College; the Bulldogs would win the first two sets 25-22 and 25-22. Wabash would take the third set 25-23, but Adrian would seal the match with a 25-23 fourth set win.
Chase Heuer would continue his dominance with 21 kills while
Carson Bell and
Sam Landers would both add 10.
Andrew Gawrisch and Heuer would each have four service aces in the match. Gawrisch would add 31 assists with
David Barona adding 24 assists of his own.
Beck Fieldhouse would lead the Bulldogs in digs with 12.
In the second match, Adrian would win in three straight sets by scores of 25-15, 25-12, and 25-19.
Zach Molnar and Heuer would lead in the kills department with six each. Gawrisch would contribute 14 more assists on the day as well as four more aces in the three sets.
Jacob Rembulat would total 13 digs as Fieldhouse would add seven of his own.
The Bulldogs will play at Siena Heights University on Tuesday, February 13 at 7:00 PM!
