ADRIAN, Mich. – The Adrian College men's basketball team honored Emcee Williams and Michael Rightnowar for Senior Night on Wednesday evening against the Scots of Alma College. The Bulldogs would battle to the end, but would suffer the loss to Alma, 67-60.
 
Michael Rightnowar would get Adrian going as he would knock down a corner three-pointer to give them an early lead. Halfway through the first half it was neck and neck as the Scots would hold a 13-12 lead. Adrian would stay close and chip away as they would take a 27-25 lead with three minutes to go. The Scots would bury a triple to give them a 32-29 halftime lead. Adrian would go 11-24 from the field and go 3-10 from beyond the arc in the first twenty minutes of action.
 
Another Rightnowar triple would tie the game right back up on the first possession for the Bulldogs out of the break. Alma would go on a 14-2 run to get the lead up to 12 points. Adrian would continue to fight as they would get the margin down to five with just over a minute remaining in the game. Made free throws from the Scots would solidify the game as they would beat the Bulldogs, 67-60. Adrian would end the night shooting 39.3% from the field and shoot 35% from the three-point line.
 
To lead the Bulldogs was Rightnowar with 13 points going 5-8 from the floor and 3-6 from beyond the arc. Josh Jordan and Braylon Dickerson would both total 11 points each. Josh Rechsteiner would grab nine rebounds as Jordan would add eight of his own. Rightnowar would also dish out four assists in his senior night.
 
Adrian will travel to Kalamazoo College on Saturday, February 17 for their final regular season game at 3:00 PM.
