ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Adrian College Women's ACHA Division 2 hockey team came out of the weekend with a win and a loss to in-state opponent, Lawrence Tech University.
The Bulldogs were in Farmington Hills on Saturday afternoon, where they came out on top with a 6-5 shootout win.

Jordin Giove,
Madison Grimm, and
Natalie Tolton were the goal scorers for Adrian in the road win.
Devon Cavaliere added two assists to the offensive effort and the shootout winner, while goaltender
Jennifer Grant made 34 stellar saves on 39 shots on net.
Adrian and Lawrence Tech met again on Sunday afternoon at the Arrington Ice Arena to wrap up the CCWHA conference battle, but it was LTU that came out on top this time with a tight 1-0 win. Adrian goaltender
Emily Tracht held her team in the game, absorbing 35 out of 36 shots in the loss.
The WD2 Bulldogs currently sit at No. 4 in the ACHA WD2 Central Region and will return to action next weekend on February 10-11 in a home and home with Central Michigan University.
