ALLIANCE, Ohio – The Adrian College men's volleyball team stayed on the road this weekend as they headed to the University of Mount Union on Saturday afternoon. The Bulldogs would lose in four sets to the Purple Raiders.
In the first set, Mount Union would win 25-19. Adrian would answer by winning the second set 29-27, but fall in the third set 25-16. The Purple Raiders would win set number four 25-20 to take down the Bulldogs.
Chase Heuer would have a team-high 16 kills as
Sam Landers was right behind him with 14 kills.
Andrew Gawrisch would total 43 assists. Heuer would lead Adrian with six digs as Gawrisch and
Beck Fieldhouse both added five digs. Landers and
William Morris both had three blocks in the four sets. Adrian totaled a hitting percentage of .183 compared to Mount Union's .346.
Adrian will host Bethany College on Thursday, March 7 at 7:00 PM inside the Merillat Performance Gym!
