GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Adrian College men's volleyball team traveled to Calvin University for a conference contest on Friday evening. The Bulldogs would lose in the fifth set 15-13 and fall to the Knights, 3-2.
Adrian took the first set 25-20, but Calvin took the next two by scores of 25-16 and 25-23. Adrian would have full control of set four winning, 25-14. The Bulldogs fell short in the fifth set, 15-13.
To lead Adrian was
Chase Heuer with 22 kills as
Andrew Gawrisch would have a team-high 29 assists.
Carson Bell and
David Cauley both had two service aces while Bell added three blocks.
Jacob Rembulat led defensively with 10 digs as Gawrisch totaled eight digs. Adrian totaled a .244 hitting percentage on the night.
Adrian will travel to Trine University on Saturday, March 30 at 12:00 PM for an MCVL conference contest!
