ADRIAN, Mich. – The Adrian College men's volleyball team hosted the Adrian Tri-match on Saturday afternoon. The Bulldogs would host St. Norbert College and Hiram College. Adrian would win both matches, 3-0.
In match one Adrian would win in three straight sets by scores of 29-27, 25-17, and 25-21. Adrian would total eight service aces in the match compared to one from St. Norbert.
Beck Fieldhouse would lead the Bulldogs with nine kills as
Chase Heuer followed with eight and
Andrew Gawrisch added seven of his own. Heuer totaled four aces as
Carson Bell had five blocks in the three sets. Gawrisch would end the match with 21 assists as
Jacob Rembulat would total a team-high eight digs.
In match two the Bulldogs would win in straight sets again by scores of 25-16, 34-32, and 25-15. Adrian would record 12 service aces to Hiram's four.
Heuer would lead with a team-high nine kills in match two as Fieldhouse and Bell would both add eight kills each. Heuer would also have a team-high in service aces with five as well as total nine digs in the three sets. Bell would lead with three blocks as Gawrsich would contribute 20 assists for the Bulldogs.
Adrian will be on the road in MCVL conference play against The University of Olivet on Saturday, March 16
th at 4:00 PM!
