ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Adrian College men's soccer team defeated Kuyper College on Wednesday night at Docking Stadium to move to 7-0 for the first time in program history. The Bulldogs defeated the Cougars 1-0 to continue their winning streak.
The first half started slow for the Bulldogs taking a 0-0 tie into the break. After 45 minutes of play, Adrian total seven shots with three landing on goal while Kuyper posted three shots with one on goal. In the second half,
Kyle Jennings broke the silence on a header to lead 1-0.
Brett Wojkowski recorded an assist on the goal off a corner kick. Adrian posted multiple opportunities in the second half with eight corner kicks, but were kept out of the net to keep the score at 1-0.
Adrian went on to win the shots total 13-6 and 7-3 in shots on goal.
Eli Sizemore recorded another shutout on the season and moves to 5-0 in goal on the year.
The Bulldogs will look to keep their winning streak alive on Saturday, September 21 when they host Manchester University at 4:00 PM to complete their five-match home stand.
