ADRIAN, Mich. -- With every Adrian College Homecoming, the Bulldogs induct a new class of Hall of Fame members. During the week we will highlight the Class of 2024 and the accomplishments each of them made during their time at Adrian College.
On September 27, 2024, Chris Stansik from the Class of 2012 will be inducted to the Adrian College Athletic Hall of Fame. Stansik was a member of the Adrian College NCAA men's hockey team.
Stansik scored the first goal in program history during the opening game of the 2007-08 inaugural season. He was a four-time All-Conference selection and a two-time All-American including First Team honors in 2012.
During his career at Adrian College, Stansik played in 112 career games scoring 33 goals and recording 102 assists for 135 total points. Of his 33 career goals, 14 came on the power play and one was short-handed. During his time at Adrian, Stansik won four Regular Season Conference Championships and three Conference Tournament Championships while making one trip to the NCAA Tournament. Stansik was a member of the 2010-11 team that were named the NCAA Division III Runner-Up, but sat out the season due to injury.
Currently, Stansik ranks sixth in program history in assists and assists per game while ranking eighth in program history in games played. Stansik also ranks eighth in program history in assists in a single season with 30 in 2009.
Stansik currently lives in Livonia, Michigan with his dog Snuffleuphagus and in an entrepreneur. He enjoys playing cards and golfing.
In addition to the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on Friday night, the Hall of Fame Class of 2024 will be honored on the field before the Homecoming football game on Saturday.
