ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Adrian College Women's ACHA Division 2 hockey team began its 2025 agenda with a home series against Aurora University this weekend at the Arrington Ice Arena. The Bulldogs came out with a series split to the Spartans, which involved two shutout contests.
The Spartans bested the Bulldogs in game one on Saturday night, holding on for a close 2-0 victory. Adrian goaltender,
Emily Tracht, turned aside 27 of 29 shots in the losing effort.
Adrian got its revenge on Sunday afternoon, as the home team put forward three goals to Aurora's zero, hanging on for a 3-0 triumph to split the semester's opening series.

Akeeliah Graham, and
Morgan McKeraghan provided the tallies for Adrian, helping Tracht collect the 23-save shutout victory in goal.
The WD2 Bulldogs will next take on Bowling Green on Saturday, January 18 in Ohio at 11:00 AM. Adrian and Bowling Green previously met this season back on November 10.
