GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. - The Adrian College men's basketball team faced a tough challenge on the road at Calvin University on Wednesday night, falling to the Knights 73-43 in a hard-fought contest.
The Bulldogs came out strong, showing early promise with an impressive first-half performance. Sophomore Braylon Dickerson led the effort, leading the team with 20 points, two rebounds, one assist, and a block. His stellar play helped Adrian build a solid lead, and at the break, the Bulldogs held a narrow five-point advantage.
Junior Seth Logan also made significant contributions, adding 10 points, three rebounds, and one assist to the effort. Adrian's defense and timely scoring kept them in control through much of the first half.
In the second half, Calvin's offensive surge proved too much for the Bulldogs to contain. Despite a solid effort, Adrian couldn't turn the tide as the Knights pulled away, eventually securing a 73-43 victory.
Adrian is back in action on Saturday, January 18th where they will travel to Holland, Michigan where they will take on Hope College. Tip-off is scheduled for 3:00 PM.
