ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Adrian College Women's Basketball team battled with the Belles of St. Mary's College on Saturday afternoon, coming away with a 70-57 victory.
Morgan Babb led the scoring for the Bulldogs with 21 points, shooting an impressive 50% from the field and 6 for 6 from the free-throw line. Babb also led the way in rebounding, coming away with a team-high 8 rebounds.
Darby Lienerth also contributed 13 points for the Bulldogs in the win as she was helped by
Kylie Skidmore and
Kaitlyn Otto, who contributed 5 assists respectively.
The Bulldogs posted an impressive offensive showing, shooting 43% from the field and 39% from behind the arc. The Bulldogs also controlled the game in the paint, winning the rebounding battle 31-16.
With this win, the Bulldogs improve to 4-12 on the season and 3-4 in conference play.
The Bulldogs will be back in action on Wednesday, January 22 as they travel to Holland for a game against Hope College. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 PM.
