ADRIAN, Mich. – The Adrian College NCAA women's hockey team completed the sweep over Lake Forest College on Saturday afternoon.
Callie Wollschlager led the Bulldogs with a pair of goals as Adrian went on to win 5-0.
Karmen Anderson put the Bulldogs on the board with a goal in the first period.
Zoe Lohrei extended the lead on a penalty shot before Wollschlager scored her first goal of the game to lead 3-0. The second period went score for the both sides, but Wollschlager netted her second of the game in the third to lead 4-0.
Tia Lascelle scored on the power play to lock in the 5-0 win.
Wollschlager added an assist to her two-goal performance while
Kathryn Truban and
Maya Roy earned a pair of assists.
Annie Gilbert started in goal for the Bulldogs finishing the game with 20 saves.
The Bulldogs will take a road trip to the University of Dubuque next weekend to take on the Spartans in a two-game series. The series will begin on Friday, January 24 at 4:00 PM ET.
