ADRIAN, MICH. – The Adrian College men's basketball team hosted No.3 Trine University on Thursday night where the Bulldogs fell 83-55.
Trine stormed out of the gates with an 11-0 run, setting the tone early and carrying that momentum through the first half. Despite the tough start, senior Nick Seifert provided a spark for the Bulldogs, leading the team with 16 points, three rebounds, one assist, and one steal. Adrian headed into the locker room facing a 9-point deficit but stayed within striking distance in the second half.
Senior Josh Rechsteiner made his presence felt with 8 points, five rebounds, two assists, one block, and one steal. However, Trine maintained their dominance, pulling away down the stretch to secure an 83-55 victory.
Adrian is back in action on Saturday, January 25 where they will take on The University of Olivet. Tip-off is scheduled for 3:00 PM.
