GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- The Adrian College women's basketball team opened 2025 with a road contest at Calvin University on Wednesday in Grand Rapids, but fell short to the Knights by a 68-45 score.

The Bulldogs were led by Morgan Babb, who registered 9 points and also led with 9 rebounds over 27 minutes played. Hannah Lisch, Ashlyn Weatherly, and Kylie Skidmore each tallied 7 points apiece in the effort, while Skidmore dished out 8 dimes to her teammates. The Bulldogs continued their fight throughout the game, but the Knights held on for the victory.

Adrian shot 34.8% from field-goal range, but struggled from downtown, going 1 for 9 (11.1%) from three-point range. The Bulldogs finished the loss with a 60% completion rate from the free-throw line.

The Adrian College women's basketball team will head to Albion this Saturday afternoon for another MIAA road contest. Tip-off at 3:00 PM in Albion.
