OLIVET, Mich. – The Adrian College women's soccer team delivered a commanding performance on the road Saturday afternoon, shutting out Olivet 5–0 in conference play at Cutler Athletic Complex.
The Bulldogs struck early and often, finding the back of the net three times in the opening half. Alanna Earl got things started in the 12th minute off an assist from Delaney Batur, followed shortly by a goal from Annamarie Fosmoen in the 15th minute. Gracie Jagodzinski extended the lead just before halftime to make it 3–0 heading into the break.
Adrian kept the momentum rolling in the second half. Fosmoen tallied her second goal of the day in the 48th minute, and Charlotte Pouget capped off the scoring at the 57-minute mark.
The Bulldogs outshot the Comets 32–2, including 14 shots on goal, while holding Olivet to just a single shot on target. Goalkeepers Katelyn Stanton, Gabby Revels, and Riley Miller combined for the shutout, needing only one save to secure it.
With the win, Adrian improves to 6–8–1 overall and 3–2 in conference play. The Bulldogs will look to carry their strong form into Wednesday evening as they host Hope College in their pink out game.
