CANTON, Mich. – The Adrian College men's bowling team kicked off its 2025–26 season over the weekend, competing in the first two events of the American Heartland Bowling Association (AHBA) series. The Bulldogs placed 19th in AHBA #1 on Saturday and 18th in AHBA #2 on Sunday, showing steady improvement across the two days of competition.
In the opening event, Adrian totaled 4,542 pins to take 19th overall. Leading the way for the Bulldogs was
Dominic Mendoza, who finished 50th individually with a total of 991.
Austin Garcia followed closely behind in 53rd with 976, while
Matthew Daniels placed 69th with 838.
Braxton Vasseur added 669 pins for a 95th-place finish,
Wendell Martian bowled a 569 to place 103rd, and
Braylen Thomas rounded out the lineup with 449.
Adrian continued to build momentum on Sunday at AHBA #2, improving to 18th overall with a total of 4,747 pins. Mendoza once again led the team with 526, good for 60th place. Daniels (64th, 515), Garcia (67th, 486), Vasseur (86th, 343), and Thomas (278) contributed to the team total.
The Bulldogs also finished 17th in the Baker set with a combined score of 4,045.
