Annamarie Fosmoen powers Women's Soccer to dominant home win against Alma

ADRIAN, Mich. – The Adrian College women's soccer team put together one of its most complete performances of the season on Wednesday night, rolling past Alma College 5–1 in MIAA action at Docking Stadium.

The Bulldogs came out strong as Victoria Siegan opened the scoring in the 18th minute off an assist from Annamarie Fosmoen. Alma briefly equalized, but Adrian immediately regained control when Fosmoen netted her first goal of the match just 33 seconds later, assisted by Alanna Earl. The duo connected again in the 30th minute—this time with Earl scoring off a setup from Fosmoen—to make it 3–1 at the break.

Adrian continued to dominate in the second half, with Fosmoen scoring her second of the night in the 49th minute thanks to Ellise Fries assist. Delaney Batur capped off the offensive showcase in the 78th minute, firing home the Bulldogs fifth goal.

In goal, Katelyn Stanton recorded five saves while keeping Alma scoreless for the final 70 minutes. Even after going down a player following a red card to Teagan Bergeron, Adrian's defense stood tall to close out the victory.

Fosmoen led the offensive surge with two goals and two assists, while Earl added a goal and an assist.

The win improves Adrian to 4–7–1 overall and 1–1–0 in MIAA play, as the Bulldogs aim to carry their momentum into Saturday's away trip St. Mary's for a 12:30pm kick off.
