COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Adrian College men's basketball team traveled to Capital University on Saturday afternoon for a non-conference matchup, where the Bulldogs fell 79–56.
Adrian got off to a slow start in the opening half but gradually settled in as the game progressed. Despite finding their rhythm, the Bulldogs went into the break facing a sizeable deficit. In the second half, Adrian showed improved energy and execution, chipping away at the margin, but Capital maintained control and never allowed the Bulldogs to close the gap.
Carson Lutz and
Dylan Gira led the Bulldogs offensively, each finishing with 11 points. Gira also paced Adrian on the boards with six rebounds, while
Darrius Welch added four of his own.
Up Next: The Bulldogs are back in action on Wednesday, November 19 where they will host Wittenberg University for their home opener. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 PM.
