ADRIAN, Mich. – Adrian College Athletics has announced a partnership with Influxer, marking the College's first official collaboration in the area of name, image, and likeness (NIL).
Founded in 2022, Influxer was created to connect student-athletes with resources that help them engage with the NIL marketplace. The company is licensed with more than 500 colleges and universities nationwide, offering student-athletes the opportunity to sell personalized merchandise featuring official institutional branding.
In addition to providing each student-athlete with a personalized online store, Influxer is dedicated to supporting athlete education in the NIL space. The company offers free one-on-one coaching on topics such as social media marketing, financial literacy, taxes, and contract interpretation. Influxer also provides paid internships to student-athletes across its partner campuses, offering hands-on experience in marketing, graphic design, business, and other professional areas.
"We are excited to partner with Influxer to provide our student-athletes with the ability to benefit from their name, image, and likeness," said Adrian College Athletic Director Craig Rainey. "All of our student-athletes will have the opportunity to work with Influxer if they choose. The partnership also allows our athletes to develop valuable skills for their long-term success."
Once an Adrian College student-athlete opts into the Influxer program, fans will be able to purchase personalized apparel through the Adrian College Influxer Store or the student-athlete's individual page. All designs are approved by the College and available across each sport. Merchandise options include hats, shirts, sweatshirts, tumblers, and more, with new designs and products added throughout the year.
