OBERLIN, Ohio. – The Adrian College men's basketball team competed in the championship game of the Oberlin Tip-Off Tournament on Saturday, where the Bulldogs came up short in a high-scoring 106–92 battle against Franciscan University.

From the opening tip, the game turned into an offensive showcase, with both teams trading baskets at a blistering pace. In the first half, Adrian shot an impressive 41% from the field, 50% from three-point range, and converted seven of nine from the free-throw line. Despite the strong offensive performance, the Bulldogs trailed by just two at the break, 43–41.

Franciscan came out firing in the second half, finding a rhythm that proved difficult to slow down. Adrian continued to battle and keep the pressure on, but the Barons' efficient shooting and pace ultimately made the difference as they pulled away late to secure the win.

Luke Rager led the Bulldogs with a team-high 25 points, adding seven rebounds and five assists in an all-around effort. Seth Logan followed closely with 23 points, six boards, and two assists, while Darrius Welch contributed 11 points and led the team on the glass with nine rebounds. Adrian scored 96 points, first time over 90 since 2022.
