ADRIAN, Mich. – The Adrian College women's basketball team opened their 2025–26 season in dominant fashion on Saturday, rolling past Hiram College with an 84–53 victory inside the Merillat Sport and Fitness Center.
The Bulldogs came out firing, setting the tone early with a fast-paced offense and tough defensive stops. Adrian limited Hiram to just 11 points in the opening quarter while building an eight-point lead. The momentum only grew in the second, as the Bulldogs exploded for 27 points to take a commanding 27-point advantage into halftime.
The second half was more of the same, with Adrian maintaining control on both ends of the floor and closing out the game with complete dominance to secure a statement win in their home opener.
The Bulldogs shot an impressive 51% from the field, 33% from three-point range, and 76% from the free-throw line.
Morgan Babb led the charge with a double-double, scoring a team-high 18 points and pulling down 13 rebounds.
Aubrie Ickes added 14 points, four rebounds, and two assists, while
Hannah Lisch contributed 12 points, two boards, and a team-best four assists.
Up Next: The Bulldogs are back in action on Wednesday, November 12, where they will travel to cross-town rival Siena Heights University. Tip-off is scheduled for 6:00 PM.
