WACO, Texas – The American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) announced its 2025 NCAA Division III All-American team on Wednesday morning, with Adrian College junior Ethan Burrows earning a spot on the First Team.

Burrows claimed one of the four defensive back positions after an outstanding debut season with the Bulldogs. The Essexville, Michigan, native transferred to Adrian from Concordia Ann Arbor and made an immediate impact, finishing the year with eight interceptions, 46 total tackles including 31 solo tackles, along with 6.5 tackles for loss and five pass breakups.

He led all of NCAA Division III in interceptions per game at 0.80. Burrows was also named First Team All-MIAA and becomes Adrian's first football All-American since 2017, as well as the program's first Defensive All-American since 2006.

The Bulldogs concluded the 2025 season with an 8-2 overall record.
