ADRIAN, Mich. – The American Cornhole League (ACL) released its Collegiate Team and Individual Rankings on Wednesday, and the Adrian College cornhole team earned the No. 2 ranking nationally. The Bulldogs also placed two athletes in the top 20 individually, with Alex Weaver ranked No. 7 and Zachary Blaylock checking in at No. 16.

Adrian has enjoyed significant success throughout the season, competing in several ACL Collegiate events across the country. The Bulldogs have traveled to tournaments hosted by UMass, Tennessee, UW–Whitewater, Winthrop, and Iowa Lakes Community College.

Weaver has led Adrian in singles competition, earning his No. 7 national ranking. He captured the tournament title at Iowa Lakes after finishing second at both UMass and UW–Whitewater, while also placing fourth at Winthrop.

Blaylock recorded a ninth-place finish in Tennessee and placed second at Iowa Lakes. He has been a standout in doubles play, helping the Bulldogs secure multiple top-three finishes this season.

The rankings were released two weeks ahead of the ACL Collegiate National Cornhole Championships in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The national tournament will take place January 1–3, with the later bracket rounds airing on ESPN. Adrian has appeared on ESPN during the 2022–23 and 2024–25 seasons and narrowly missed an appearance in 2023–24. The Bulldogs will look to make their third ESPN appearance at this year's national championship.
