ADRIAN, Mich. -- Ethan Burrows of the Adrian College football team earns a second All-American honor. This award was announced by the Associated Press on Thursday where the AP named Burrows a Second Team All-American at defensive back.
This marks the third honors for Burrows this season after being named First Team All-American by the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA), First Team All-Region by D3football.com, and First Team All-MIAA.Â
Burrows led the NCAA in interceptions per game this season with 0.80 as he intercepted eight passes in ten games. He recorded 46 total tackles including 31 solo tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, and 0.5 sacks. Burrows also broke up five passes this season.
One more organization is set to announce its All-American teams as D3football.com will make its announcement on December 22.
