ALMA, Mich. - The Adrian College women's basketball team traveled to Alma College on Saturday for a conference matchup, falling in a hard-fought road contest, 62–53.
Alma opened the game with an early run to take an 11-point lead after the first quarter. Adrian responded by matching the Scots with 12 points in the second, keeping the deficit at 11 heading into the break.
The Bulldogs carried that momentum into the third quarter, outscoring Alma 18–13 to chip away at the lead. Adrian continued to battle in the fourth and made a late push, but the comeback ran out of time as the Scots held on for the 62–53 finish.
Hannah Lisch led the Bulldogs with 21 points and added three rebounds. Morgan Babb posted a season-high 15 rebounds to go along with nine points and three assists. Aubrie Ickes reached double figures with 11 points while grabbing six boards.
Up Next: The Bulldogs are back in action on Wednesday, December 10 where they will host Saint Mary's College. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 PM.
