KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Adrian College synchronized skating team earned a spot at Nationals after a strong performance at the Midwestern Synchronized Skating Sectional Championships in Kalamazoo. The Bulldogs continue to build momentum as they approach the end of the season, posting higher scores compared to earlier in the year.
The collegiate team achieved a 10-point improvement from their previous competition at Synchro Illinois. With a total score of 75.41, the Bulldogs secured eighth place at Sectionals and earned a coveted bid to the National Championship.
The senior team saw even more impressive progress, posting a 15-point increase from their season high at the Boston Classic. With a team score of 130.90, they finished second at Sectionals and also secured a spot at Nationals.
The National Championship will take place in Colorado Springs, Colorado, from February 28 to March 1. The senior short and collegiate freeskates will be held on Friday, followed by the senior freeskate on Saturday. Event times are to be announced, and the competition will be streamed on Peacock.
