Men's Basketball 2024-2025 Season Comes to an End as Bulldogs Fall to Hope College in the Quarterfinals of the MIAA Tournament

HOLLAND, Mich. - The Adrian College men's basketball team took on the #3 Seed Hope College for the quarterfinals of the MIAA tournament where the Bulldogs fell short 81-55.

In the first half, Hope quickly established a small lead, but Adrian mounted a determined response, trimming the deficit to just five points. However, as the half wore on, Hope regained their momentum, building a 12-point advantage. The Bulldogs struggled to find their rhythm as they entered the locker room trailing by 15.

Adrian shot 37% from the field and 25% from beyond the arc, though they remained perfect at the free-throw line, going 2-for-2. Sophomore Braylon Dickerson led the Bulldogs at the break with nine points and one rebound, while senior Nick Seifert added eight points, one rebound, one assist, and one steal.

The second half started with both teams going cold for the first four minutes, but Hope continued to apply pressure, extending their lead midway through the half.

Dickerson led the charge for Adrian, finishing the game with a team-high 16 points, three rebounds, and two steals. Seifert was not far behind, contributing 12 points, four rebounds, one assist, and three steals.

Adrian shot 31% from the field, 14% from beyond the arc and 78% from the line.

Despite a valiant effort, Hope controlled the game down the stretch and secured a dominant 81-55 victory.

Adrian wrapped up the 2024-2025 season with an overall record of 7-19, finishing 5-9 in MIAA play.
