ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Adrian College men's basketball team dropped a tough contest to nationally-ranked No. 23 Calvin University on Saturday, losing the game, 92-55.

The Bulldogs had their work cut out for them against the Knights, who defeated the Bulldogs once already this season back in January.

The Knights came out storming right off the bat, putting up 52 points in the first half. Adrian struggled to find much of a run, but tallied a strong 37 points in the second half to best the 18 they garnered in the first half.

Braylon Dickerson contributed 12 points (6 for 8 FT), Seth Logan tallied 11 points, and Dylan Gira registered 10 points in the losing effort. Jacob Rehor showed promise in the paint, grabbing a team-lead 10 rebounds on the day. Cayden Lepper led his team in dimes with 3. While the Bulldogs finished 11 for 16 from the free-throw line, the major difference came in the field goal and three-point ranges as Calvin had the upper hand in those columns.

The Bulldogs move to 6-15 on the year, with a 4-6 MIAA conference record. Adrian returns to the court on Wednesday, February 12 at home against Hope College in their first of four games remaining in the regular season. Tip-off goes at 7:30 PM at the Merillat Sport and Fitness Center.
