MARSHALL, Texas – The Adrian College baseball team kicked off its trip down south for Spring Break on Saturday afternoon. The Bulldogs faced Hendrix in which the team struggled to get the offense going and dropped the contest, 3-1.
HOW IT HAPPENED

• Hendrix jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the second inning by taking advantage of Adrian errors to plate two unearned runs.
• Hendrix struck again in the fifth inning to lead 3-0 on an RBI single to right center.
• The Bulldogs plated their lone run in the eighth inning on a sacrifice fly from Joe Casale.
• The Bulldogs struggled at the plate recording just five hits including two from Rolando Jimenez.
• Jaxon Clark picked up the loss after tossing 6.2 innings allowing one earned run on seven hits with four strikeouts. Raymond Keane and Ambrose Horwath pitched in relief for Adrian.
