ADRIAN, Mich. – Adrian College Athletic Director Craig Rainey announced the hiring of Nick Christian as the head coach of the college's newly formed NCBA Division III baseball team. Christian, a 2023 graduate of Albion College, was a member of the football team during his time there.
Christian brings a wealth of coaching experience to Adrian College. He currently serves as an assistant coach for the Adrian Lookouts, working with the 16-18U teams and focusing on pitching. Additionally, he was the junior varsity coach at Dexter High School in Michigan during the 2024 season, where he was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the program.
The newly established NCBA Division III baseball team aims to return to its championship-winning ways. Adrian College's original club baseball program competed at the Division III level, where they won the 2018 NCBA World Series before moving up to Division I.
Christian will begin his duties immediately, focusing on recruiting players for the team, which is set to compete in the 2025-26 season.
