FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) has announced its All-Conference selections for the 2024-25 women's tennis season, and Adrian College is proud to recognize two of its standout athletes:
Hye Jin Elliott and
Claire Earley.
Sophomore
Hye Jin Elliott was named First Team All-MIAA for the second consecutive year. Competing at No. 1 Singles, Elliott posted a stellar 15-2 overall record, including a 7-1 mark in conference play. She earned decisive victories over opponents from Albion, Saint Mary's, Calvin, Alma, and Trine, and secured a tiebreak win against Hope in one of her most competitive matches of the season.
Claire Earley earned Second Team All-MIAA honors, marking her second straight season receiving All-Conference recognition. Playing at No. 2 Singles, Earley compiled a 13-4 overall record and went 5-3 in MIAA action. Her conference wins included dominant performances over Albion, Saint Mary's, Calvin, and Trine—highlighted by a pair of 6-0 sets in the Trine match.
Together, Elliott and Earley also formed a formidable partnership at No. 1 Doubles, where they finished the season with a 14-4 overall record and a 6-2 record in conference play. The duo notched key doubles victories over Albion, Calvin, Alma, Kalamazoo, and Trine.
The Adrian College women's tennis team concluded the season with a 9-9 overall record and a 4-4 mark in the MIAA, earning the No. 5 seed in the conference tournament. The Bulldogs' season came to a close in the first round, but the team is poised to return stronger in fall 2025 in pursuit of another tournament berth.
