ALBION, Mich. – The Adrian College baseball team opened its final series of the regular season in dominant fashion on Thursday, routing Albion College 32-9 to officially clinch the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) title outright. Entering the game with a three-game lead and three games remaining, the Bulldogs' explosive win secured sole possession of the MIAA Championship—marking the program's 16th conference title.

Albion struck first with a run in the bottom of the second, but Adrian responded in a big way with an 11-run third inning. Ryan Davis led the charge with five RBIs in the frame, driving in two on a single and three more with a home run. Easton Rogers added a two-RBI double, and Linken Hayward chipped in with an RBI single.

Albion answered with a rally of its own, scoring seven in the bottom of the third to cut Adrian's lead to 11-8.

The Bulldogs blew the game open in the fifth, posting 12 runs. Rogers doubled, Hayward homered, David Kedrow added another double, and the Britons' pitching staff issued five bases-loaded walks.

Albion scratched across one more run in the fifth, but Adrian poured on seven more in the sixth.

Rogers capped off the sixth with a grand slam. Jaxon McGuigan followed with a two-RBI single, and Davis added a sacrifice fly.

Adrian tacked on one final run in the seventh on an RBI groundout to seal the 32-9 victory.
