Experienced Coaches Join Bowling Staff in Program Coaching Restructure

ADRIAN, Mich. – Adrian College Athletics has announced a restructure of its bowling program, effective immediately. As part of the changes, Athletic Director Craig Rainey has appointed Darrin Griewahn as the new Director of Bowling. Kevin Taber will serve as head coach of the men's program, while Jessica Kozakiewicz has been named head coach of the women's program. In addition, Jay Young and recent Adrian graduate Josh Felcoski will join the coaching staff as volunteer assistants.

Taber brings over 30 years of experience in the sport, both as a player and coach. His professional bowling career includes ten PBA Regional Titles, a USBC Open Championship in 1992, and two 300 games bowled at the 1991 USBC Open. Taber has bowled numerous 300 games and 800 series throughout his career and has been inducted into three Bowling Halls of Fame. Most recently, he coached at Bowling Green State University for 14 years, guiding the team to 40 tournament victories, four conference championships, a Club National Championship, and four appearances at the ITC Nationals.

Kozakiewicz also brings a strong bowling background and local ties to the program, having competed for both Onsted High School and Adrian High School. Nationally, she has earned one gold, three silver, and two bronze medals over the course of her career.

Volunteer assistant Jay Young brings more than 25 years of experience, including 18 years of coaching at the high school level and six years at the collegiate level with Bowling Green State University. As a competitor, he bowled on the PBA Tour, winning one title and receiving the 1993 Pat Patterson Award.

Josh Felcoski, a 2025 Adrian College graduate and former member of the Bulldog bowling team, joins the staff after a decorated collegiate career. He was a two-time AHBA All-Conference selection and earned Collegiate Club All-American honors.

The newly structured coaching staff will begin preparations for the upcoming 2025–26 season immediately.
