MANCHESTER, Ind. - The Adrian College men's soccer team earned a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Manchester University on Saturday afternoon.
The Bulldogs came out strong, generating multiple chances in the opening half. Despite outshooting the Spartans 8-3, Adrian couldn't break through as both defenses held firm.
The breakthrough finally came in the 54th minute when Kyle Peterson buried the go-ahead goal off a setup from Eli Sizemore. From there, Adrian controlled the tempo, firing off four more shots to close the match. The Bulldogs finished with 13 total attempts, seven on target, while limiting Manchester to just seven shots and three on goal.
