RIVER FOREST, Ill. -- The Adrian College men's volleyball team was unable to find its rhythm on Saturday afternoon, falling 3–0 to Dominican (IL) at Igini Sports Forum in River Forest. The Bulldogs dropped the match by set scores of 25–17, 25–16, and 25–10 as Dominican controlled the tempo from the opening serve.

Dominican set the tone early with efficient attacking and strong defensive pressure. The Bulldogs stayed competitive in stretches of the first two sets, but Dominican's consistency proved difficult to overcome. The Stars hit .484 as a team for the match, compared to Adrian's -.012, creating separation throughout all three sets.

Offensively, Adrian was led by Dominic Rees with 7 kills, followed by Sam Landers with 4 and Carson Bell with 3. At the service line, Andrew Graczyk paced the Bulldogs with 2 aces, while Bell and Rees added one apiece.

Defensively, Adrian found success at the net with William Morris posting a match-high 4 blocks, and additional blocks coming from Carles Baza and Marc Solans. Graczyk anchored the offense with 15 assists, while Marco Gomez, Baza, and Rees each recorded 3 digs.

The Bulldogs will be back in action Saturday for their home opener at 7:00 PM as they host Concordia University Chicago.
