ADRIAN, Mich. – The Adrian College NCAA men's hockey team wrapped up its annual series against Utica University on Saturday afternoon. After falling behind 4-0, the Bulldogs mounted an impressive third-period comeback, scoring four unanswered goals to force overtime. The game ultimately ended in a 4-4 tie.

Utica jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the first period before adding three goals in the second to take a 4-0 advantage into the final 20 minutes of play. Adrian began its comeback when Joshua Wiebe found the back of the net on a 5-on-3 power play. Lucas Busch added another goal later in the period before Jacob Badal pulled the Bulldogs within one with just under nine minutes remaining.

With time winding down, Adrian pulled its goaltender to add an extra attacker. With 1:10 remaining, Frank Tafelski and Badal assisted on a goal by Jack O'Hanisain, completing the comeback and tying the game at 4-4. Neither team found the back of the net during overtime, resulting in a tie. The teams then participated in a shootout, where Utica came away with a 1-0 advantage.

Tafelski led the Bulldogs with three assists, while Jaiden Sharma recorded 12 saves and Dylan Eliason added four saves in goal. Adrian finished the afternoon with a commanding 47-20 advantage in shots on goal.
