ADRIAN, Mich. – Adrian College Head Strength and Conditioning Coach Eric Davis has been selected to serve on the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) Advisory Board for the state of Michigan. Davis was selected based on his coaching experience, involvement with the NSCA, and interest in contributing to the organization's mission.
The NSCA community is comprised of more than 60,000 members and certified professionals worldwide who promote best practices in strength and conditioning, exercise science, and athletic performance. Its membership includes researchers, educators, strength and conditioning coaches, performance and sport scientists, personal trainers, tactical professionals, and other exercise science-related professionals.
Davis has been at Adrian College since August 2022, serving as the head strength and conditioning coach. A native of Manchester, Michigan, Davis joined the Bulldogs after gaining experience in the strength and conditioning field at NCAA Division I Detroit Mercy. At Adrian, he works with a variety of athletic programs, overseeing team workouts, strength and conditioning programming, conditioning sessions, and select game-day warmups.
The NSCA Michigan Advisory Board hosts an annual state clinic to provide educational opportunities for aspiring and established coaches while fostering professional development and networking throughout the region. The board consists of coaches representing a variety of backgrounds, including NCAA athletics, high school sports, tactical strength and conditioning, and the private sector.
Davis's selection to the advisory board provides an opportunity to contribute to the continued growth of the strength and conditioning profession throughout Michigan while supporting the development of coaches across the state.
