KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Adrian College men's basketball team traveled to Kalamazoo College for an MIAA road showdown and came away with an impressive 21-point victory.

The first half was tightly contested, with both teams trading baskets on both ends of the floor. Adrian maintained control throughout the opening half and headed into the locker room with a 45–40 lead.

In the second half, the Bulldogs erupted offensively, combining timely scoring with strong defensive play. Adrian controlled the pace for the remainder of the game, outscoring Kalamazoo by 50 points in the second half to pull away for the convincing win.

Adrian shot an efficient 50 percent from the field, 47 percent from three-point range, and 22-of-30 from the free-throw line. Darrius Welch played all 40 minutes and recorded a double-double, leading the team with 27 points and 11 rebounds. Seth Logan added 19 points, seven rebounds, and two assists, while Luke Rager also chipped in 19 points with four rebounds.

Up Next: The Bulldogs are back in action on Saturday, February 14 where they will welcome Alma College. Tip-off is scheduled for 3:00 PM.
