ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Adrian College baseball team began its series with Trine University on Thursday night under the lights at Nicolay Field. The No. 23 Bulldogs earned their 21st win of the season after a 7-1 victory over the Thunder. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Adrian led 3-0 after the second inning on a Trine error followed by an RBI double from Braxton Bermes and a sacrifice fly from Rolando Jimenez.
• Adrian added a pair of runs in the fifth inning after a home run to right field from Brendan Willadsen.
• Trine scored its lone run of the game in the sixth inning which was quickly answered on an RBI single from Jaxon McGuigan to make it 6-1.
• Casey Finn added another run for the Bulldogs in the eighth inning on a sacrifice fly.
• The Bulldogs used their speed today and stole seven bases.
• Landon Kozlowski had another quality start on the mound tossing 7.2 innings allowing one runs on six hits with eight strikeouts.
• Adrian totaled 11 hits on the day with two from Bermes, McGuigan, Willadsen, and Jake Burns.
