JOLIET, Ill. – Adrian College track and field student-athlete Bridget Waterstradt competed in a last chance qualifier on Friday night hosted by University of St. Francis. Waterstradt raced in the Women's 5000 Meters, finishing ninth overall.
Waterstradt also etched her name into the program record book, breaking the Adrian College record in the Women's 5000 Meters with a time of 18:09.52. The previous record of 18:13.93 was set by Olivia Vasiloff in 2018.
The meet marked the conclusion of the 2026 outdoor track and field regular season for the Bulldogs. Adrian will now await the official announcement of qualifiers for the 2026 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships, which will be released on Friday, May 15, on NCAA.com. The national championships are scheduled for May 21-24 in La Crosse. Wisconsin.
