ADRIAN, Mich. – Adrian College Sports Information Director Mike Prang has announced the additions of Ian Balint and Jack Boike to the Adrian College Sports Information Department staff. Balint will serve as the Assistant Sports Information Director, while Boike will join the department as the Sports Information and Athletic Operations Intern through the NCAA Division III Pathways to Excellence Grant.
Balint is a 2026 graduate of Albion College, where he was a four-year member of the baseball team. He earned double majors in Marketing Management and Sports Communication while also serving for two years as a student worker in the Albion College Sports Information Office. In that role, Balint assisted with game-day operations, live statistics, and streaming production. He was recognized with the 2025-26 MIAA Tom Renner Associate SID Award, presented annually to the conference's Sports Information Student Assistant of the Year.
Boike returns to Adrian College after earning his bachelor's degree in 2026. A two-sport student-athlete, he competed for both the Bulldog baseball and football teams while earning a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. Boike served on the Adrian College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and was named a College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District selection in both football and baseball. During his collegiate career, he also worked as a data analytics intern with the United Shore Professional Baseball League, where he analyzed in-game performance data, statistics, and scouting metrics. In addition, Boike served as vice president of the Adrian College Saber Analytics Club.

"Ian stood out as someone who will bring valuable experience in game-day operations while helping manage our archives, records, and historical information. Jack's experiences as a student-athlete at Adrian College provide a unique perspective that will help us continue enhancing the student-athlete experience while supporting our athletic programs."
Balint and Boike will join Prang and Sports Information Assistant Theresa DiMaggio on the Adrian College Sports Information staff for the 2026-27 academic year. Balint will begin his role on July 6, while Boike will report on July 20.
