ADRIAN, Mich. – Adrian College Director of Skating Kayleigh Mulligan has announced the hiring of Megan Yamarino as the new assistant coach for the Adrian College figure skating and synchronized skating programs. A 2023 Adrian College graduate, Yamarino returns to her alma mater after competing for the Bulldogs during her collegiate career.

As a student-athlete, Yamarino served as a team captain and was a member of the Adrian College team that represented Team USA in international competition. She was also actively involved on campus as a member of the Adrian College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), the National Society of Leadership and Success, the Mortar Board Senior Honor Society, and the President's Advisory Board.

Yamarino brings several years of coaching experience, having coached figure skating since 2018 with a variety of programs throughout Michigan, Ohio, and Georgia. She also served as an instructor for the Adrian College Learn to Skate program and volunteered as a coach with Gliding Stars and the Silver Blades Skating Club.

Yamarino will begin her coaching duties immediately as she helps prepare the Bulldogs for the 2026-27 figure skating and synchronized skating seasons.
