ADRIAN, Mich. -- Adrian College has announced the hiring of Madisyn McDonald as the new assistant coach for the Adrian College men's and women's rugby teams. McDonald recently graduated for Adrian College in May 2026. 

During her time at Adrian, McDonald was named captain of the women's rugby team, where she led the team in points, assists, tackles, poaches, and penalties won. In her junior year, McDonald also made the Big-10 all star team.  
 
Head Coach of the women's rugby team, Eric Enright, is excited for her to step into this new role. "Mac has been a great player and leader for our program and we can't wait to have her on the staff. Her effort and dedication exemplify the values we strive to build our program on, and the rugby knowledge she brings will provide immense value to our side. We're incredibly excited to see all the ways she'll help our team grow!"  
 
McDonald will begin her coaching duties immediately as she helps prepare the Bulldogs for the 2026-27 season.
