ADRIAN, Mich. – The Adrian College football team placed three student-athletes on the 2026 D3football.com Preseason All-America Teams. Senior defensive back Ethan Burrows earned First Team honors, senior offensive lineman Joe Pruchnic was named to the First Team, and sophomore punter Cooper Tracy received Second Team recognition.
Burrows enters the 2026 season following a historic junior campaign in which he collected three All-America honors. He was named a First Team All-American by the American Football Coaches Association, a Second Team All-American by the Associated Press, and a Third Team All-American by D3football.com. Burrows also received First Team All-MIAA and First Team All-Region recognition.
The defensive back totaled 46 tackles, including 31 solo stops and 6.5 tackles for loss, while adding five pass breakups. Burrows led NCAA Division III with eight interceptions and averaged 0.80 interceptions per game.
"Ethan does everything at a very high level," head coach Joe Palka said. "He has really strong ball skills and is extremely physical. He is also an Academic All-American and represents our program at a high level in every area."
Pruchnic returns as a leader on the Bulldogs' offensive line after earning Second Team All-America, First Team All-MIAA and First Team All-Region honors last season. He helped Adrian average 181.7 rushing yards and 280.2 passing yards per game. Over 330 pass attempts, Pruchnic surrendered only one sack and three quarterback hurries.
"Joe is the consummate professional," Palka said. "He is humble, hardworking, and a great role model for the other players. He brings physicality to the running game and is excellent in pass protection."
Tracy begins his sophomore season after earning Second Team All-America, First Team All-MIAA, and First Team All-Region honors as a freshman. He established an Adrian single-season record with an average of 42.96 yards per punt. Tracy recorded a season-long punt of 62 yards, delivered three punts of at least 50 yards, and placed 12 attempts inside the opponent's 20-yard line.
"Cooper is very cool under pressure," Palka said. "He has a great ability to create hang time and place punts inside the 10-yard line."
The Bulldogs will kick off the 2026 season September 5th at home against Ohio Northern at 1pm.
